    **WARNING:
This soundtrack uses the Amen Break like a BITCH, and the 'Deidre' Beach Boys sample from MOTHER 2/Earthbound. So, if you hate those samples (for, honestly, ultimately superficial reasons), you are *NOT* going to like this album.

Please understand that it was a product of its time: when I was obsessed with using the Amen Break in my music thanks to discovering it in late 2015 because of UNDERTALE, which in itself, heavily inspired ISOLATION and GENOCIDE.

Regardless, I have updated most of the Amen Breaks used here to be slightly less harmonically obnoxious. I apologize for any listening dissatisfaction in advance if you choose to humor this album, regardless.

about

✿ Story/Context Time (again) ✿

"GENOCIDE" -- the sequel to further express catharsis from the ISOLATION story, was planned at the end of 2015, but truly began development in 2016, entertaining the curiosity of what happened if Sukanku, instead of suffering through his problems, just succumbed to the corruption of it all and straight-up killed them?

This Side-B sequel would focus on explorative worldbuilding as Sukanku teams up with Pony Sukanku -- the antagonist of ISOLATION, -- to help find an outlet for his pent-up rage manifested into a desire for bloodshed, and with Pony Sukanku's magic aid, travel across many select areas outside of the closeted discomfort of Sukanku's room, both fictitious modelings of real-life settings and metaphysical plains of existence.

✿✿

This caused the comic to draw much more attention to it just because of how much was going into it -- story-mechanic-wise, plot-wise, design-wise, and especially music-wise. It was practically on its way to becoming an RPG in the form of a comic... But because of school taking heavy priority and throwing off my flow and drive of working on the comic, GENOCIDE ceased development just at its 3rd entry (in context of the story, just before Pony Sukanku and Sukanku entered the Carillon of Bourneville), and ISOLATION ceased development, as well.

However, the accompanying soundtrack for GENOCIDE was completed to keep the motivating spirit of the expanded story alive while musically pinning as many possible points of the story -- minus only two tracks that would've been between 'Les Ondes Isolé' and 'Battaile du Rose et Noir'; their intended direction was only so clear, and I never took initiative to attempt composing them directly.

On top of this, a good quantity of notes scattered across my files and sketchbooks were recorded so that they were to go through troubleshooting, plotting, and refining.

This is to say that the writing is fairly better than ISOLATION's, but I don't feel like that means much considering what else was going into the story, like referencing some distorted characters from other IPs. And any instance of doing that is going to be received poorly more often than not...

✿✿✿

But this is also to say that continuing GENOCIDE's story would be less problematic than ISOLATION past the obvious art quality increase appearing jarring.

Now here's the thing... Would I? And has the comic itself had any of its completed entries posted? A solid "no" to the latter question, and to address the former... probably not. But only the future can say for sure of what happens... but at least for historical context, the accompanying soundtrack is here.
